SCSC Seals Regional Spatial Data Partnership in RGIN XII MOU Signing

CITY OF KORONADAL, South Cotabato — South Cotabato State College formally joined regional partner agencies in reaffirming its commitment to collaborative spatial data management during the official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held on September 14, 2026, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill.

Organized under the auspices of the Regional Development Council XII and the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, the ceremonial signing gathered key stakeholders to solidify inter-agency cooperation within the Regional Geographic Information Network (RGIN) XII.

The event featured opening remarks from Romel Patrick E. Tanghal, Acting Chairperson of the RGIN XII ManCom and OIC Regional Director of DOST XII, alongside a message of support from Engr. Sammy P. Malawan, CESE, Regional Director of DOST XII and Chairperson of the RGIN XII Technical Working Group.

Through this agreement, SCSC and fellow member institutions strengthen their shared commitment to advancing geographic information management, data sharing, and regional development initiatives across Region XII.
