CITY OF KORONADAL, South Cotabato β South Cotabato State College attended the Regional Geographic Information Network (RGIN) XII Basic and Advanced GIS Training held on September 14, 2026, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.
The training, organized by the RGIN XII Secretariat under the Regional Development Council XII and the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, aims to strengthen participantsβ knowledge and skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The activity commenced with registration and preliminaries, followed by an opening message from Romel Patrick E. Tanghal, Acting Chairperson of RGIN XII ManCom and OIC Regional Director of DOST XII. Engr. Sammy P. Malawan, CESE, Regional Director of DOST XII and Chairperson of the RGIN XII Technical Working Group, delivered the message of support.
The training also featured an overview of the RGIN XII Memorandum of Understanding and the ceremonial signing of the agreement by RGIN XII member agencies, highlighting the networkβs continued collaboration in advancing geographic information management and applications in the region.
