𝐒𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬
SURALLAH, South Cotabato – South Cotabato State College (SCSC) Institute of Teacher Education conducted a two-day Pre-Service Teachers Seminar on August 6–7, 2026 at Emily’s Pension House and Restaurant in Surallah, South Cotabato.
Carrying the theme, “Empowering Future Educators: Bridging Theory, Practice, Personality, and Professional Growth,” the seminar aimed to prepare pre-service teachers for their teaching profession through discussions on pedagogy, professional development, personality development, and practical classroom application.
The opening program featured welcome remarks from Dr. Joebert C. Legreso, rationale by Nydie D. Brillantes, MIB, MAST, recognition of participants by Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, and the introduction of the resource speaker by Dr. Elyn Joy T. Asilum.
The seminar proper was led by Jodan F. Manua, Education Program Specialist of the Department of Education Regional Office XII, who discussed Pedagogical Competence, Personality Development, Professional Growth, and Practical Application through lectures, role-playing activities, group exercises, and classroom simulations.
The program concluded on August 7 with an impression message from a BTVTEd representative, the awarding of certificates, and closing remarks from Dr. Ruth G. Silverio, Program Chair of BTVTEd-CCT.
