Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga — Reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional collaboration, South Cotabato State College (SCSC) actively participated in the 2nd Presidents’ Roundtable Meeting for Unified Strategic Growth held on July 8–9, 2026. Representing the College were College President Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, together with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Joebert C. Legreso, and Assistant Board Secretary Ardan P. Fusin, LPT, MALT. The two-day gathering convened the distinguished “Magnificent 22” State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) under the leadership of CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong to strengthen institutional partnerships, exchange best practices, and formulate strategic initiatives that will further advance the quality of public higher education in the Philippines.
 
A significant milestone of the roundtable was the signing of a multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among the participating SUCs and Pampanga State University, establishing a framework for student exchange programs, local internship opportunities, collaborative research, and other academic initiatives that will enrich learning experiences and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation.
 
Through its active participation in this national gathering, South Cotabato State College continues to forge meaningful partnerships, promote academic innovation, and contribute to building a more responsive, globally competitive, and future-ready Philippine higher education system.
