𝐒𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝟗𝟎 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡

SURALLAH, South Cotabato — Ninety farmer-partners from the Veterans Lamsugod Farmers Association received free Natural Foliar Fertilizer (NFF) during a distribution activity conducted under the Greener Growth: Natural Foliar Fertilizer Program at the Lamsugod Community Garden in Barangay Lamsugod, Surallah, South Cotabato.

The initiative was implemented through a partnership between South Cotabato State College (SCSC) and the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) of Surallah. The program aims to support local farmers by providing natural foliar fertilizer to enhance crop growth, improve productivity, and promote environmentally sustainable farming practices. The activity was conducted with the support of SCSC President Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes and Extension Director Nikki C. Cordero, MAST. It was also carried out in collaboration with OMAG Surallah OIC Head Cherry De Castro and Municipal High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) Coordinator Donna D. Cabahug, in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Lamsugod. Organizers said the program highlights the importance of collaboration among academic institutions, local government units, and farming organizations in advancing agricultural development and strengthening food security in the community.

The distribution forms part of SCSC’s continuing extension initiatives aimed at supporting local farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in South Cotabato.
