LOOK | Public Relations and Information Office personnel of SCSC Joins Figma Fundamentals Training

Koronadal City – Among the many interested participants, the Public Relations and Information Office (PRIO) of South Cotabato State College (SCSC), represented by Romeliza Alberto and Information Officer I Arlan Carl F. Gallano, LPT, MIE, was among the selected few to join the Figma Fundamentals Training conducted by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region XII – South Cotabato on April 14, 2026, at the DICT South Cotabato Provincial Field Office in the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

 

The training was facilitated by David Roy Xerxes D. Omanio, Information Officer I, and focused on the basic fundamentals of Figma. It was attended by civilians, students, and professionals from across South Cotabato and neighboring areas, all eager to acquire new skills applicable to their personal lives, studies, and workplaces.

 

Figma is a web-based platform, with a corresponding application version, and is considered one of the world’s leading UI/UX design tools. Participants were introduced to the essential features of the program and later engaged in a hands-on workshop to apply what they had learned.

 

The event was also graced by DICT South Cotabato Provincial Officer Ronald Jones S. Hinay, who delivered the welcome remarks.
