The SCSC Office of Legal Affairs is responsible for providing legal counsel and support to the College in all matters concerning governance, administration, and operations. It reviews contracts, memoranda of agreement, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. The office advises the College administration on legal risks, represents the institution in legal proceedings, and assists in the resolution of disputes and claims. Additionally, it provides guidance on regulatory compliance, policy formulation, and enforcement, safeguarding the College’s legal interests, promoting accountability, and ensuring that institutional actions are consistent with applicable laws and ethical standards.
