BUDGET UNIT
The SCSC Budget Unit is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and consolidating the College’s annual budget in alignment with institutional priorities and government budgeting policies. It monitors budget utilization, ensures that all expenditures are within approved appropriations, and issues budget certifications to support financial transactions. The unit coordinates with departments to assess funding needs, conducts budget hearings, and provides technical guidance on budget preparation and execution. It also prepares periodic budget reports for management and oversight agencies, ensures compliance with DBM and COA regulations, and promotes fiscal discipline, transparency, and efficient resource allocation to support the College’s programs and operations.
