BUDGET UNIT
The SCSC Budget Unit is responsible for planning, preparing, and monitoring the College’s annual and supplemental budgets in accordance with government rules and institutional priorities. It reviews and consolidates budget proposals from different units, ensures that all expenditures are within authorized appropriations, and issues budgetary certifications to support financial transactions. The unit monitors budget utilization, prepares reports for management and oversight agencies, and provides technical guidance on budget preparation, execution, and adjustments. Additionally, it ensures compliance with DBM and COA regulations, promotes fiscal discipline, and supports the efficient allocation of resources to achieve the College’s programs, projects, and operational objectives.
