LOOK | South Cotabato State College Kicks Off the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women
South Cotabato State College officially kicks off the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, reaffirming its strong commitment to fostering a safer, more inclusive, and more compassionate community. This nationwide observance serves as a powerful reminder that ending violence against women is not only a personal mission but a collective responsibility that requires awareness, unity, and action.
During the program, Ms. Elen G. Avila, MAEd, delivered the rationale, emphasizing the purpose and urgency of the campaign in strengthening advocacy and protection for women. Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, College President, highlighted the invaluable role of women in society and stressed the importance of cultivating good values in children—values that must be nurtured within the home. Meanwhile, Dr. Joebert C. Legreso, VPAA, underscored that these values must be practiced and carried forward by students to help create a safer and more responsible society.
As the campaign runs from November 25 to December 12, 2025, SCSC stands united with the nation in advocating for respect, equality, and a VAW-free Philippines. May this kickoff inspire continuous dialogue, stronger solidarity, and meaningful action toward protecting the rights and dignity of every woman.
