The Capacity Building for GAD Advocacy: A Training-Workshop for Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) is currently underway at South Cotabato State College (SCSC). Participants from SCSC, the United Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (UEMPC), and the SCSC Community Outreach Center (COC) are actively taking part in insightful sessions led by Dr. Susie Daza, Regional GAD Resource Pool member. The activity aims to enhance awareness, strengthen gender mainstreaming efforts, and empower participants toward building gender-responsive programs and policies.

With the full support of Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, College President, and the guidance of  Ms. Elen G. Avila, MAED, GAD Focal Person, this initiative reflects SCSC’s steadfast commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality across the institution. Each discussion and workshop emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and shared responsibility in advancing gender advocacy and inclusive development. 💪✨
