South Cotabato State College Successfully Conducts RQAT Evaluation for COPC Application on November 5, 2024

On November 5, 2024, South Cotabato State College proudly hosted the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) evaluation for its Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) application at the Community Outreach Center. The evaluation covered several of the college’s flagship programs, including the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTED) with majors in Animal Production, Agricultural Crops Production, Civil and Construction Technology, and Food and Service Management, as well as the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.

The event marked a pivotal step toward strengthening academic quality and institutional standards in alignment with the guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The evaluation team from CHED included prominent figures such as Dr. Zohrahaydah N. Panawidan, OIC Chief Education Program Specialist; Ms. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto, Education Supervisor II for BTVTED; Engr. Jhan Jkhem Fontanilla, Education Supervisor II for Development Communication; and Mr. Danstone Guy P. Dayaday, Education Supervisor II for BS Entrepreneurship. They were joined by evaluators Mr. Sonny M. Dillano Jr. for BTVTED and Dr. Aflie Maria R. Custodio for BS Entrepreneurship, who contributed valuable insights into program quality and compliance.

South Cotabato State College extends its gratitude to the CHED representatives and partner institutions for their unwavering support and expertise.
