SCSC Successfully Conducts Second Release of TES-UniFAST Batch 1 Grantees
SURALLAH, South Cotabato — South Cotabato State College (SCSC) successfully facilitated the second release of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UniFAST) Batch 1 on July 21, 2026, providing financial assistance to around 200 student grantees.
The release was facilitated by Ms. Michelle L. Soriano, MAT, Scholarship Focal Person, in coordination with the Cash Unit, ensuring the efficient processing and distribution of the educational assistance to qualified student beneficiaries.
The qualified beneficiaries received a total educational assistance amounting to ₱30,000, intended to support their academic expenses and other needs related to their pursuit of higher education.
The TES program, implemented through UniFAST, aims to provide financial assistance to eligible college students and help remove barriers that may affect their ability to continue and complete their studies.
The successful release reflects SCSC’s continuing commitment to supporting student welfare and strengthening initiatives that promote accessible, equitable, and quality higher education.
Through its partnership with UniFAST and other education stakeholders, SCSC continues to implement programs that provide meaningful support to learners and create opportunities for academic success.
