South Cotabato State College successfully held the MOA Signing Ceremony with the Commission on Human Rights โ€“ Regional Office XII on March 3, 2026, at the COC Building. The event marked the official establishment of the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) at SCSC, reinforcing the Collegeโ€™s commitment to promote human rights education through instruction, research, and community extension.

The ceremony was highlighted by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement, the turnover of the CHRE marker, and commitment messages from SCSC President Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes and CHR Commissioner Hon. Beda A. Epres.

The ceremony was witnessed by personnel from CHR Region XII, as well as faculty and staff and student leaders of South Cotabato State College, reflecting the shared commitment of the academic community and partner institution in promoting and upholding human rights.
Through this initiative, SCSC continues to nurture responsible, informed, and empowered individuals who champion human rights within their communities.
