𝐋OOK | 𝐒𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐎𝐀 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐇𝐑

South Cotabato State College successfully held the MOA Signing Ceremony with the Commission on Human Rights – Regional Office XII on March 3, 2026, at the COC Building. The event marked the official establishment of the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) at SCSC, reinforcing the College’s commitment to promote human rights education through instruction, research, and community extension.

 

The ceremony was highlighted by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement, the turnover of the CHRE marker, and commitment messages from SCSC President Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes and CHR Commissioner Hon. Beda A. Epres.

 

The ceremony was witnessed by personnel from CHR Region XII, as well as faculty and staff and student leaders of South Cotabato State College, reflecting the shared commitment of the academic community and partner institution in promoting and upholding human rights.

Through this initiative, SCSC continues to nurture responsible, informed, and empowered individuals who champion human rights within their communities.
