South Cotabato State College proudly marked another significant academic milestone with the 2nd Pinning and Send-Off Ceremony of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) students. The ceremony symbolized the students’ readiness to transition from classroom learning to real-world training as they embark on their On-the-Job Training (OJT) and industry immersion.

The meaningful activity was attended by Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, College President; Dr. Joebert C. Legreso, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Devee Grace D. Benavidez, Department Head of the Institute of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Management (IBEM); along with faculty members and other key college officials, whose presence underscored the institution’s strong support for the students’ professional journey.

 

More than a tradition, the pinning ceremony served as a powerful symbol of trust, discipline, and professionalism. Each pin represents the values and competencies that the students carry as future tourism and hospitality leaders, while the send-off signifies their courage to face real-world challenges and responsibilities beyond the campus.
