City of Koronadal, 02 March 2026 โ€” South Cotabato State College wrapped up its In-House Review (IHR) 2026 as faculty researchers and staff vied for Best Oral Presentation, Best Research Paper, and Best Poster under three categories for completed research: Applied Science, Physical Science, and Social Science, with presentations followed by evaluator questions and comments at the GSX Convention Center.
ย
The review also served as a pipeline for future projects. A total of 20 research proposals were presented for possible funding and endorsement, with proponents outlining objectives, methods, and expected outputs during the sessions. In addition to SCSC researchers, participants from Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU), Green Valley College Foundation, Inc., Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc., Libertad National High School, and Surallah National High School were invited to strengthen scholarly exchange and research linkages among private and public schools and universities.

Putting Research Output Under the Microscope
Held under the theme โ€œAdvancing Sustainable Development through Quality Research and Innovation,โ€ the IHR featured parallel sessions for proposals and completed studies that gave presenters to refine their work based on the recommendations raised during the discussions.
By the end of the activity, organisers and participants emphasized the value of the review as a practical step in improving research quality before projects move forward to implementation, publication, or further institutional support.
