Delegates from South Cotabato State College (SCSC) conducted a benchmarking activity at Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Bukidnon on February 5, 2026, focusing on Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. The SCSC delegation was headed by Dr. Jobert C. Legreso, together with EnP. Jett A. Javellana, Ardan P. Fusin, MALT-FIL, Clayd Bryan Dofiles, RAgr, Engr. Kenaiah L. Cang, Engr. Quint Ivan Pojas, Reymone B. Gavileรฑo, MS and Genemar G. Mortera, MITHM.
During the visit, the delegates actively engaged in discussions and listened to CMUโs best practices, which are considered vital in SCSCโs efforts to expand and strengthen its academic programs.
As part of the activity, the delegation also visited CMUโs Quality Assurance Office. The Quality Assurance Team presented the universityโs institutional accreditation status, including its membership in the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance, as well as other national and international accrediting bodies. Engr. Rojae Carlo discussed CMUโs initiatives on Agricultural Biosecurity, while Professor Erwin Ambasa, Officer in Charge of the Quality Assurance Director, presented the universityโs quality assurance systems and accreditation frameworks.
Through this benchmarking activity, SCSC remains hopeful that, with the guidance and assistance of Central Mindanao University, the members of South Cotabato State College will work as one toward achieving higher goals and continued institutional development.
