Notice of Search and Call for Application or Nomination for Two (2) Private Sector Representatives to the SCSC Board of Trustees

The Search Committee for the Private Sector Representative (SCPSR) of the Board of Trustees of South Cotabato State College is now accepting applications or nominations for two (2) vacant position for Private Sector Representatives (PSRs).

Applicants/ Nominees must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Be a Filipino citizen and of legal age;
• Have at least five (5) years of employment, business, or practice of profession in the private sector preferably related to the SCSC’s charter or mandate;
• Must be a resident of South Cotabato Province for at least two( 2) years where the college is located;
• Not connected with the SCSC or other government agencies and instrumentalities in any manner, for one (1) year immediately prior to his/her application/nomination to the PSR position;
• Not currently employed or appointed to any position in the government (local, national, including government-owned and controlled corporations), be it full time or part time, at the time of application/nomination for the PSR position;
• Not related to any member of the present Board or their duly-authorized representatives, within fourth civil degree of consanguinity or affinity; and,
• Must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or any crime involving moral turpitude.

Selection Criteria for candidates

• Prestige and Prominence of the applicant or nominee;
• Past and present memberships in civic, social, religious, and professional organizations;
• Past and present achievements in the field of specialization; and
• Knowledge, expertise, depth, and breadth of experience and business acumen.

Application or Nomination Documentary Requirements

Applicants/Nominees for the position of Private Sector Representative should provide one set ( 1) of original /Certified True Copy and five (5) sets of photocopies of the following documents :

• Duly notarized application or nomination (with conforme of the Nominee, in case of nomination);
• Duly accomplished, computerized, and notarized Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212);
• Certificate of Employment stating Nominee’s present position in the private sector related to the industry, business or profession related to the SCSC’s Charter or mandate;
• Service Record of Applicants/Nominees who have been employed in the government at any point, if any;
• NBI Clearance;
• Certification of No Connection with SUC the Applicant/ Nominee is applying or nominated to;
• Signed Commitment and Availability of the Applicant/Nominee to serve as PSR;
• Signed Conforme to the Conditions of PSR as provided in Section 14 of CMO no. 07 s 2022; and
• Other documents as may be required by the SCSC GB.
