This annual observance reflects SCSCโ€™s unwavering commitment to supporting Indigenous studentsโ€™ affairs and promoting the sustainability of IKSPs by integrating them into the academic curriculum. It also seeks to establish policies, plans, and programs that protect and advance the rights and well-being of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) within the academic sphere. In line with this celebration, the College, headed by SUC President I, Dr. Edward Lovell B. Brillantes, together with Dr. Jaime Boy U. Ngag Jr., KAMAGSO Adviser, will hold a culminating program on October 24, 2025. The event will feature various activities and cultural presentations that showcase the rich heritage and traditions of the regionโ€™s Indigenous Peoples.
The celebration directly aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
